“PC City” leave soon France

The chain of computer stores PC City, offers since 2001, when the implantation of 1 store in France, products related to the world of PC (hardware, software, PDAs, peripherals, software, games …) . This subsidiary of DSG International(formerly Dixons), a leading European electrical distribution is based on the purchasing power of the group. 

The significant losses recorded by the PC City stores have amenné the parent to consider the closure of the company in France. An audit on the réoganisation operations will be carried out in France, including the possible closure of 11 city and PC stores selling products in France via the e-commerce division of the group (www.pccity.fr).

The activity of the website as to be able to see it grow in the future. Rappellons that stores PC city now employ approximately 320 people in France. The possibility of layoffs or closures of the group will be expected by the end of July 2007.
